Daphne Groeneveld goes tribal for an editorial in Numero #124. Greg Kadel uses a white background and adds in neon coloured effects to make the black and white shots look interesting. this is one of the best editorial spreads i have seen in a while. i usually like an editorial that tells a story, with an unusual setting, props...but with this nothing works fantastically. Daphne Groeneveld is one of my favourite models, she's such a chameleon. she looks different in each shot. i love the outrageous styling done by Bill Mullen. its tribal meets vaudeville theatre. the coloured hair extensions, exaggerated head pieces, layers of jewellery makes it super eccentric... xxx
