fashion book: white nights

Inspiration: two of my favourite looks from the H&M fall 11' look book featuring the lovely, Sasha Pivovarova. i'm really feeling high-waisted bottoms; shorts, trousers, skirts. and these dark burgundy pants in particular. couple of pictures i found from an editorial on fashion gone rouge that i found interesting. the polka dotted stockings made me reminisce of mine that got destroyed in the wash. note: need to buy a pair asap. suede + fur bomber style jacket in lavender - super cute. Rodarte fall 11' look book that i came across a couple of days ago. the weirdness of it is what caught my eye. collaborating with Opening Ceremony, the look book features twins, Gwen and Donna Loos styled in soft hues, ruffles and silhouettes. the look book sets a mood of young romanticism. NARS illuminator in 'orgasm', i swear by it. Rag & Bone straw fedora; the perfect accessory for the on-going summer.

these were taken at this summer's wireless festival in hyde park, london. if you were there you know how sick the line up was ;) i wore my most battered vintage tee that i must have bought over five years ago. it has a super wide neck and i love wearing it as an off shoulder to get a slouchy look. hunter boots and a warmish sweater were essentials since it was due to get chilly that evening... xx
