can't get enough of black shoes
I have a fetish for black shoes...flats, booties, wedges, heels... Its the only colour that goes with practically everything. These are some of my favourite pairs from my ever-growing closet

the wedge
These are the comfiest wedges ever! I bought them from Topshop over six months ago but barely wore them twice. They were part of my halloween costumes last week and I fell in love with them all over again like I had when I saw them on the store shelf. Since they are tie ups they give a strong support which I really need since I can't wear heels of any kind if they don't have a strap to go around my ankle. My feet are relatively narrow and slip out otherwise! These wedges go great with any piece of clothing that bares your legs. I was really fascinated by the nail varnish I was wearing that night. Its from Forever 21 in the shade of 'Light Orange'. Although it looked peachy in normal light, the UV light in this picture and in the club made my nails glow in the dark. Super cool for halloween.

last few leaves of autumn
| Balmain scarf, American Apparel top and leggings, h&m boots, Topshop headband |
as autumn comes to an end and the cold chilly winds of winter gush past us you know the time to bring out the winter coats and jackets is right around the corner. seen from my previous posts you must have realized that i have a weird fondness for metal grills and london street sidewalks..my friend and i were walking back to my flat on this particular gloomy afternoon and got lucky with some sunshine.. this resulted in a few snapshots! im a sucker for clothes in shades of blue, grey, white, beige, black and my closet is full of them with a few odd bright pieces here and there. i love tops and dresses that are off the shoulder, they add slenderness to the upper body and look super chic. i added colour to this outfit by wearing one of my favourite scarves. its a vintage balmain scarf that i bought at a vintage store in east london called Blondie's.

the look of autumn
Popular high street brand Zara recently released their October lookbook. The numerous options make it fun and easy to be able to mix and match to get the right outfit. From capes..oversized knits..fitted blazers to wide legged trousers, pleated skirts and a variety of shoes for this fall. The above three are my favourite looks from the lookbook.!

BCBG max azria
These are some of my favourites from the S/S 11 line from BCBG by max azria that was previewed at New York Fashion Week in September. This collection consisted of smock dresses and clear cut minis enhanced with new age femininity. It portrays how women can look sexy in a minimilistic and simple manner.

lost in soho
| Vintage dress, H&M beanie, Zara bag and trench coat, F21 boots. |
After scarfing down sunday brunch at Patisserie Valerie, my friend and I aimlessly walked around Soho which was surprisingly empty that afternoon. This outfits all about comfort and perfect for lazy sundays like the one I was having. I bought this dress from a vintage store in Thailand this summer. I like how its so simple and can be worn with bright accessories depending on my mood... paired up with tights if its cold... worn with boots to give an outdoorsy look or cute ballet pumps or heels to add a girly feel. I've lately been enjoying wearing beanie caps with my hear tousled. Its also the best solution to a bad hair day since the weather in London is so unpredictable.

Wear them with dresses or skirts to get a feminine look. Cigarette, cropped or high-wasted trousers worn with an over-sized blazer or sweater to get more of a masculine look..... These mannish brogues, loafers and oxfords are this seasons must haves. They look great when paired up with anything and are super comfortable. To enhance femininity buy them in dark shades of red or rust orange.
The 'Oxford' shoe first came about in Ireland and Scotland and was often called Balmorals.

brass knuckles
Thursday evening boredom led me to taking pictures of my collection of metal rings. My obsession with costume jewellery began a few years ago and now i don't feel comfortable leaving my house without a piece or more on. Recently I've impulsively been buying knuckle rings that became trendy earlier this year by McQueen, Chanel, Van Cleef and Arpels, Low Luv x Erin Wasson, Soixante Neuf, Bop Bijoux, Forever21.. I love the way they add edginess ..
Check out the rings on 'Shopbop'. Low Luv x Erin Wasson has amazing ones.

Aldo boots, American Apparel leggings, Forever 21 t-shirt, Alexander McQueen scarf, Louis Vuitton bag |
We rarely get any sunny afternoons in London, especially in October. It seemed perfect to go cruise around the trendy Notting Hill neighborhood on a day when the weather was a perfect 22 C. I'm wearing black ankle boots from Aldo that I bought from New York last month. They're so comfy and look great with everything. I'm planning on completely wearing them out this season. I love Alexander McQueen's scarves as they snazz up any outfit. I threw this one on to brighten up my dull ensemble.
