Pink Mist

In the last couple of months I've grown a deep fondness for the front porch of my building and can't help but continuously tell whomever I'm with while leaving my house to take a photo of me there.  I'm pretty sure my plastered smile won't do the trick much longer and I should start returning to my old roots of experimenting with different backgrounds, etc.

I've thoroughly been enjoying the pajama trend this season. You can imagine how great it feels to get out of a pair of pjs in the morning and put on another pair with better textured material and a print that is not embarrassing. These trousers are easy to dress up with heels and dress down with sandals too.
I'm not a big fan of the colour pink but I feel pastel pink is a complimenting shade this summer. These twill drawstring pajama trousers are from Zara. I paired them with a white tshirt (of course) from the brand and carried a black Miu Miu tote with the look.

Neon & White

I picked these up a few months ago the morning of my flight to Miami when I realized I had bought no new sandals. These cute neon and white sandals are from Aldo. I wore them yesterday with cropped faded jeans and a light grey tshirt. They brighten up a laidback look and are easy to resort to on a day when you're not bother to put an effort into dressing up.. x x

Reflector

Basic summer accessories: I love this McQueen turquoise and grey scarf...it looks great with anything white or a neutral shade. These sunglasses are my favourite from the bunch stashed in the second drawer of my dresser. As much as they make me look like a bug since my face is quite small, I feel they are the most proportionate to it. I can't go wrong with square framed rims. See which frames would suit you best here... x x

Summer finally...

We've finally been blessed with sunshine by the weather Gods after 1204838 days of gloominess and rain. I embraced it by throwing on a white tee, my favourite distressed cutoffs and an orange belt this morning for brunch. Love wearing bright accessories in sunny weather, it makes them more eye catching.

Enjoy the weather my fellow Londoners! x x

Balmain Resort 2013

I start drooling over the looks from the Balmain Resort 2013 collection every time I lay eyes on them. I want to own atleast 95% of this collection. From the pastel long, boyish blazers, loose fit straight trousers, to the eye catching checkered monochrome + floral printed dresses, shirts and slim fit jeans. This collection reminds me of a wardrobe of a fashionista who lived her twenties in the 1980's. The looks below are my favourite from the collection...yes I have these many. x x

Weekly Favourites 20.07.12

Love this gold studded beige trench coat

Rebecca & Fiona: one of my many favourite artists. I've had their song 'I had some fun' on repeat all week

This ultra feminine yet tough biker jacket by Vanessa Bruno seems like the perfect cover up for a fall look

Crush of the week: Joseph Gordon Levitt. Him and I go way back. I used to have posters of him on my wall when I was thirteen and obsessed with the movie 10 things I hate about you. Joseph recently starred in the new Batman film The Dark Knight Rises. If you haven't seen it already please watch it ASAP. It.was.epic

Have a great weekend! Much love x x

Gray sweaters

One of my off-duty go to looks is a basic soft, gray loose fit sweater with skinny jeans and worn out boots. Gray may be one of the most boring colours from the bunch but I think it gives your look a classic touch. Especially an icy gray like the Alexander Wang sweater above.. x x

Layering up...

Heritage Sweater. Reiss vest. American Apparel skirt.

(For all of you who are not in London...please appreciate the sun because we're having a cold summer here). Today was all about layering from the top as I refused to cover my legs in the 15 C weather. My legs are pretty bronze and I didn't have a reason to cover them. I've been using the Garnier Summerbody Moisturizing Lotion - I highly recommend it. It enhances your existing tan and gives your skin a glow. Plus it smells great! :)
I'm a pretty basic dresser. I like my white tops with either denims or black bottoms and a pair of biker boots. Today
I wore a white vest with a black bodycon skirt and this loose fit waffle silver/grey sweater to keep me warm.
