a scarlet stain...

Zara blazer, Stella McCartney bag, A.P.C sweater, h&m leggings & ring, Aldo boots, ray-ban sunglasses
since the weathers been looking up we decided to stroll through the park during lunch time an hour before i had class. luck clearly was not on our side as it got cloudy as soon as we walked through the park gates. we managed to get a few decent shots though, i guess! i tend to forget how pretty regent's park is, considering my school is in the center of it. i've been obsessing over this slouchy blazer ever since i bought it. it totally brightens up my day, its just so bright. i stuck to a basic sweater and sheer leggings and grabbed this particular bag before leaving the house to perk up the entire look a little more. i was in one of those moods.. xx

corduroy grooves...

Motel sweater, American Apparel shorts, Topshop tights & rings, Aldo boots, Vintage sunglasses
i like mixing different fabrics together in an outfit like i have here with this cashmere sweater and corduroy shorts. i found this funky sweater while browsing the Motel Rocks online store (check out their amazing new collection). the shiny silver and bronze on the sleeves make the otherwise plain black sweater interesting. i wore it with these high waisted baby pink corduroy shorts that i bought last week. i wasn't in the mood to cause discomfort to my feet and pulled on my knee high boots for this look. but i wore these shorts with heeled booties when i went out for dinner that night and they looked fab! xx

item of the day: Vanessa Bruno shorts

how cute are these shorts? i love them in this daring neon yellow. they're so summery. clothes in neon look great when worn with a contrasting colour like white. wear them with a white tee, tunic or blazer depending on the occasion. i think they'd be perfect to wear out at night as well, with a sexy pair of wedges perhaps. check them out on Net-a-porter ... xx

purple ripple...

f21 dress, ava mirabelle bracelet-cuff, zara shoes

my obsession with these shoes continues, and i paired them with this dress for the DVF spring/summer 2011 pre sale i attended before these pictures were taken. i found this dress on a random rack at the back of the store when i was waiting for my sister to get out of the changing room. this deep purple shade is beautiful. although im not a big fan of cowl necks this dress fit pretty well when i tried it on at home. the shiny printed bracelet im wearing is from Ava Mirabelle; a label my friend Maliha and i will be launching this summer. it will soon be available on avamirabelle.com i'll keep you posted! i wore it to add something shiny to my outfit.

this was our first attempt at taking blog pictures at night. i decided to meet Jim near burlington gardens since a section of bond street was closed off and we started snapping in the middle of the road. the lighting in the pictures looked awful although the location was great. we spontaneously jumped into a cab and headed towards great portland street and wound up at a local pub called the Albany.. xx

grey skies turn blue...

Zara sweater, tshirt, skirt, shoes. Topshop tights
yes, i own alot of stuff from Zara. their stuff always seems to impress me. we took these blog pictures around my house, again. they were taken on a quiet residential street where we kept getting interrupted by cars while struggling to catch some sunlight. i mentioned the booties im wearing previously on my blog. i bought them a few weeks ago. aren't they sexy? pairing them with the heart print tights (i'd recommend polka-dot print too) made my look a little conservative which i liked since my skirt was way too short to begin with. i usually end up wearing this sweater as an accessory, it tends to bring my outfits together. i love the way it falls. even though its loose it fits amazingly and its perfect to put on when its not too chilly outdoors...
