Graphic Eyes

Sometimes I don't pay attention to the beauty part of runway shows because I'm too intrigued or in awe by the brilliance behind each piece showcased on the ramp. I found this photo while browsing through beauty trends on Vogue a few days ago. It was from Mary Katrantzou's show back in February. How cool is this graphic eye liner pattern. If you're an eyeliner buff you can add this to your list of styles. I'm more of a basic eyeliner kinda gal, super thick or super thin...so I might save this trick for halloween or some dress up party! x x

This weekend both my brands showcased at the Pure London tradeshow. This is a snap shot of the rack we had on display.

Didn't have any favourites at the Pure show but a few pieces from UK based label Forever Unique caught my eye.

Found this comfortable spot on someone's porch when there were no seats left at a pub we were at in Westbourne Grove.

 Have no idea how many seasons ago this Guess campaign is from. I find it striking because its not provocative like 95% of their other campaigns, and the bow ties add a cute school-girl touch.

These shoes definitely make the cut for being the brightest pieces in my wardrobe. If you've been a reader of my blog for sometime you may have noticed that I never wear heels that don't have a strap to go around my ankles. My feet are narrow and tend to slip out but THESE were just right! This summer is so perfect to be daring with bright colours such as neon green, bright orange, fuschia pink in trend... especially if you're in the mood to make heads turn. Bright items tend to compliment you most when you are tanned so make the most of them now. Contrast them by wearing with something black or white.

 Gonna sport these babies out on the town this weekend. Have a great one.

Sandy Rose...

My hunt for the pretty sandy pink coat began back in April when I spotted it on Sandro's online store. Three weeks into the hunt I still hadn't found my size and so I decided to give up. Opening sale days at department stores resemble a slightly calmer American rugby field where women push and shove to get those few products they've been eying for months for half off. A couple of days into the sale all the juicy goods and size 8 clothes are almost gone, and therefore I avoid these kind of sales.

A few days before the Harrods sale ended I happened to be in the neighborhood and decided to have just one look. Spotted! Found the coat, but not in my size. I slipped it on and it definitely looked two sizes too big but it felt great, and I had a bunch of outfits picked out to wear it with in my head already that I had to buy it...

I was introduced to Pizza East in Shoreditch a couple of weeks ago on my first night out in East London (such a shame since I've lived here for six years). It was the night I fell in love with the east!

I want this in my wardrobe ASAP! I love the shape & fall of these trousers even though I'm more of a skinny leg trouser girl.

Pink Mist

In the last couple of months I've grown a deep fondness for the front porch of my building and can't help but continuously tell whomever I'm with while leaving my house to take a photo of me there.  I'm pretty sure my plastered smile won't do the trick much longer and I should start returning to my old roots of experimenting with different backgrounds, etc.

I've thoroughly been enjoying the pajama trend this season. You can imagine how great it feels to get out of a pair of pjs in the morning and put on another pair with better textured material and a print that is not embarrassing. These trousers are easy to dress up with heels and dress down with sandals too.
I'm not a big fan of the colour pink but I feel pastel pink is a complimenting shade this summer. These twill drawstring pajama trousers are from Zara. I paired them with a white tshirt (of course) from the brand and carried a black Miu Miu tote with the look.
