Over the Top
Joan Smalls covers the March issue of Vogua Italia. Its her first cover and she looks absolutely radiant, and resembles Zoe Saldana might I add. I love the hashtag 'Over the Top' on the cover. I was surprised to see it because I never expected it. Shows us the influence and empowerment of Twitter. x x

Topshop & NEWGEN
I'd like to share this video that I came across a couple of days ago. It is a phenomenal fashion film produced by photographer Nick Knight, featuring Karlie Kloss to mark ten years of Topshop supporting designers at London Fashion Week. The British Fashion Council created New Generation (NEWGEN), a talent identification scheme which is recognized all over the world. It showcases work of new designers and creates awareness for them amongst influential press and buyers acting as a dominant platform. Topshop has been supporting and sponsoring the scheme since 2001.
NEWGEN has helped designers such as Marios Schwab, Christopher Kane, Alexander McQueen amongst several. Topshop has collaborated with NEWGEN talents, David Koma, Richard Nicholl, Mary Katrantzou and more over the last ten years and this video highlights their brilliant talent.

Hunter and Gatti featured an accessories story in the Feb issue of Vogue Spain with the stunning Barbara Palvin. I think its one of the best accessories stories I've ever come across, not because of the products but because of the way they've been captured. The white apparel against a white studio background and subtle sandy setting highlight the bright handbags and shoes making them enticingly striking. I want everything from this spread, especially those Zanotti shoes!

deliciously sweet...
This is as girly as it gets. Im not a huge fan but couldn't help but smile when I saw this Louis Vuitton S/S 2012 campaign. Pastels, florals, lace, crochet portrayed in feminine styles with accents such as the midi length, baby doll collars, large buttons... Daria Strokous and Katie Nescher test the delightful treats at an ice cream parlour while wearing the seasons spectacular pieces in this magical setting. xx

My flatmate and I were goofing around before going out on friday night with my iphone (new obsession by the way, considering giving up the love of my life; my blackberry). Thought I'd share this snapshot with you. The two black rings in the middle were bought from a market I had visited this winter in Bangkok. Apparently they're hand painted or maybe thats just the seller's story. Either way I'd like to presume they are :)

Josefine Nielsen for Dansk magazines spring/summer issue. The black silhouette dress is perfect for this very lady gaga-esque look. Love the white acetate round frames and exaggerated hat (must find out where its from) that add edginess to the outfit. My favourite part of a photograph is the composition of the objects around the model and to see how they compliment the clothes. The simplicity of this photo caught my eye; the wicker chair in a dark setting, a spotlight on Josefine and the snap shot from above... xx

Hugo Boss v/s Hugo Boss Black
Old hollywood glam inspired photoshoot, with the sexy Sean O'pry who resembles the style of iconic actors such as Clint Eastwood and Sean Connery. Joined by Freja Beha, the twosome sport spring/summers sleek apparel...extra points for keeping the reel black and white.
This doesn't really do it for me. Don't get me wrong, I love the riding-in-the-car-with-boys and the woman of leisure photos that capture the style of the Boss brand but they could have been more creative...
