Lanvin Resort Collection 2012

Inspiration: been getting super bored of my straight hair so was thinking of going a little over the top and trying to crimp/tousle/curl my hair like in the first picture. i'll probably do it before  a night out and post a few shots up. bracelet-cuffs that cover up more than half of your forearm, especially in gold, silver or bronze. white sunglasses! i have a vintage pair but definitely want another white pair before i go on holiday, possibly round framed ones. wearing an all-white outfit with contrasting accessories. you can't go wrong with it especially this season. girl crushing on Rosie Huntington Whiteley, not just because she's a Victoria's Secret/Burberry model and played Shia LaBeouf's girlfriend in Transformers 3, but because she always looks amazing on the red carpet. the beautiful resort collection from Lanvin for 2012. the dress above is one of my favourites. check out the rest here! xxx

yes, its summertime and i still can't get out of my boots. found this skirt at the back of my closet when i was browsing through last years stash to find something fun to wear for brunch last weekend. i like the pocket detailing that adds softness to it. i played it up by adding an over worn bright striped tee and black accessories..xx

Alexander McQueen Resort Collection 2012

Sarah Burton does justice to the original McQueen design templates but adds femininity by creating flattering silhouettes. incorporating lace and embroidery in beautiful train dresses, waist defining belts, wearable trousers, layered skirts, ankle strap shoes, over-sized clutch bags...this resort collection instantly catches one's eye. the above are my favourite from the collection. xx

how funky is this pair of patent leather pumps? i personally wouldn't wear them. i like shoes in navy blue but satin cuffs on shoes don't do it for me. i'm fond of the detailing of the signature skull in swarovski crystal that closes the cuff around the ankle, it adds the perfect McQueen touch to the pumps. they'd go well with a leg baring dress or skirt. click here for more deets xx
