how beautiful is this crochet lace?

Vogue Nippon goes nautical for its April issue using pieces from labels such as Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Ralph Lauren. i like the consistency of the bangles and flatform shoes used with each outfit that were styled by Sabino Pantone. i'm not a big fan of the flatform but they mesh right with the theme of the spread. the white apparel and backdrop contrasts the bright accessories and playful props. what do you guys think of the round framed sunglasses? this shoot has convinced me to buy a coloured pair... xx

i squeezed another blog photo sesh before class and as always, i got carried away with time and ended up running down this very long paved alley to make my way to school. it was painful. nonetheless, like every time it was a fun expedition. 

i decided to contrast my black bodycon dress with a lace-crochet white crop top, not only because i have fallen in love with this seasons trend of romance with light coloured fabrics in lace, sheer, chiffon, and crochet but also because i don't like wearing too much black on a sunny day... xx

Inspiration: acetate round shaped sunglasses. statement belts from ralph lauren. they have a western feel to it, with the worn out effect of the brown leather and large, designed metal plate buckles. school girl plait. still feeling block colours and embellishments. the boater hat. floral prints. love the outburst of everything leather. it began with boots and jackets and now leather is being used in dresses, tops, trousers, skirts...i own a pair of leather shorts by Peakaboo but i'm still searching for the perfect ones

Alexander McQueen always seems to blow me away. since i'm obsessed with knuckle duster rings it was no surprise when i fell in love with the first collection of McQueen knuckle box clutch bags. being one of my favourite brands because of its innovative designs and detailing the spring summer 2011 bag collection is absolutely tasteful. i like the elaborateness used in some of the clutch bags with skull head brass knuckles, fringes and patterns of leaves and flowers... xx

i'm wearing my favourite items in this post. these distressed leggings are ideal bottoms to match with practically anything from a sweater to a tunic to a tshirt. especially since summers around the corner, they're replacing my jeans which are being tossed to the back of my closet. we managed to get back onto a street we'd shot on before. just because we really like the interesting tiles the houses have on their porch stairs... xx
